- Airport SMS programs for operations equipped to accommodate passengers and cargo;
- General Aviation SMS with operations encompassing private flying, aerial work and recreational flying involving all types of aircraft. Includes corporate or business aviation where aircraft are operated by companies or organizations but do not carry fare-paying passengers;
- Maintenance Repair Operations SMS for operators that provide repairs, unscheduled or casualty maintenance to aircraft;
- Fixed-base Operators SMS for companies at airports providing aeronautical services such as fueling, hangars, customer waiting areas, parking, aircraft rental, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, etc.
- Helicopter Operators' SMS, for those such as oil field service providers, logging operations, tour companies, etc;
- Medical Transport operations providing medical transportation to patients, facilities and communities before and after hospitalization and/or medical treatment.
- Military Aviation SMS programs for aircraft operations that are used to conduct or enable warfare; and

Safety Management System Framework Based on Four Pillars
SMS Pro™ is based on the four pillars as depicted in ICOA's document 9859. Every major civil aviation authority follows the guidance outlined in ICAO's Safety Management System. Always make sure your SMS datbase is a Web-based software program based on ICAO's four pillars (or components).
